WWII GIRLS BASEBALL LIVING HISTORY &
SCREENING OF A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN

“Batter up, hear that call. The time has come for one and all...to play ball.” Come interact with the WWII Girls Baseball Living History players and stay to watch a screening of A League of Their Own on our big screen under the stars.

Sunday, July 31

5:00-7:00pm Living History
7:00pm A League of Their Own Movie
The Museums at Lisle Station Park
921 School Street, Lisle

Join us as we welcome WWII Girls Baseball Living History players to the Museum to learn more about the players and the game! Members of the Rockford Peaches will be showing off some baseball skills and sharing their love for the history of the game. The league portrays Women’s Baseball as it was played in 1943. Players will be in uniforms as the original All American League teams wore. Check out their equipment, such as wooden bats, and play catch with old fashioned pancake 5-finger baseball gloves!

Come to interact with the players and stay to watch a screening of A League of Their Own on our big screen under the stars. Bring your snacks, chairs & blankets, and remember…“There’s No Crying in Baseball!”
