DO YOU HAVE ARTIFACTS TO DONATE?

If you have items and materials that relate to Lisle and its community that you would like to donate, please contact the Museum Curator at museum@lisleparkdistrict.org or 630-968-0499. The Museum’s Collections Committee must approve all new donations, so it may take up to three months to decide whether we will accept your artifacts. Please DO NOT drop off or mail-in your artifacts without first contacting the Museum Curator.

COLLECTING STORIES

The museum wants to hear your stories. We are collecting stories of Lisle veterans and residents. Submit a story, memories and/or anecdotes, about living in Lisle. Any resident, longtime or newcomer is encouraged to share! In turn, your stories will be shared on social media or in a museum exhibition.

If you are a veteran, please download the Veteran Form to share your stories.

Ways to submit:
  • Read and sign the Story Release Form (Required)

Please make sure to upload any images relating to your story (the museum will assist you in digitizing pictures).
Longtime resident example: As a young girl, she had to hold up a sign on Rt. 53 near Maple Avenue to stop cars to allow her father's cows to cross the road from the pasture to the barn.
