HAMMER AND HOPS

All classes are held at The Barn / Blacksmith Shop, 921 School Street in Lisle
Join us for blacksmithing and camaraderie! This unique event invites you to unleash your inner blacksmith as you craft a bottle opener guided by the museum blacksmiths. After your time at the forge, celebrate your hardwork with a beer from a local brewery and a soft pretzel.
Our blacksmiths will supply materials and safety equipment. It is suggested that you provide your own gloves and safety glasses for personal fit and comfort, though we will provide standard gloves and safety glasses. You must wear leather shoes and clothing made of natural fibers; long sleeves are suggested.
