Step into the story of our local landscape with a guided journey to see some of our park district’s oldest oak trees. Participants will travel between select parks to meet these towering giants.

NOTE: Children under 12 years of age are free. Transportation between the parks is not provided. Usage of your own vehicle is required.
Along the way, our naturalist will share each tree's history, estimate its age, and highlight the native plants that thrive beneath
its branches. At the end of the tour, you'll take home a baby oak sapling grown from one of the parks' trees allowing you to continue
caring for a living piece of local history.
